Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
Warren Controls is a privately held, veteran owned company that has been in business for over 50 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Warren Controls is a manufacturer of high quality precision modulating control valves and accessories, serving the markets of High-end HVAC, Building Automation, District Energy, various Industrial and Chemical, OEM Manufacturers and the US Navy.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The company has been around longer than the current ownership, however the company has been under the current ownership for over 35 years. Each member of the management team has a long history in some facet of this business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Historically, Warren Controls focused on OEM sales and as such it was common to provide high quality custom engineered products. Today, with a complete standard product line, Warren Controls manufactures valves in Bethlehem from US castings to precise customer requests. This is unusual in the valve industry. Most products are made from foreign content, assembled overseas and customization may not be possible.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have a single factory in Bethlehem, PA with sufficient space on our property to double our capacity for when expansion is required.
